I decided to install some support to the drive shaft as I was worried about vibration as there was a quite long unsupported part of the drive shaft. Vibration might lead to the drive shaft being torn apart and as the motor will be doing almost 40.000 RPM it might be an issue. So I bought a ball bearing and made a wood support and now I am not so worried any more The installation can be seen in the pictures below.
I also installed the receiver and set the electronics up. The ESC is actually capable of reversion. The shaft coupling is only designed for one way drive at load, so I reduced the max reverse throttle signal to 10%. Same as on the Phantom.
Now I am only short of some batteries. I have some LiPos in mind, but I'll wait ordering them, so they don't arrive when I am on vacation and thus will be sent back.
