Made for other people and me to track what I am doing when with my remote controlled units. It started out with helicopters. Hence the name.

Installing propeller shafts III

I made some further progress on propeller shaft installation today. The pictures are from yesterday and today. All the propeller shafts are in place, but the mounting are being reinforced so he shafts will be stable. When the reinforcements are in place, I secure them with stabilit express.

I also decided to get some stainless steel washers to put on the outer shafts, in between the A frame and the propeller to avoid having brass rub against brass. I'll probably have to reduce the outer diameter of the washers so they won't stick out. The washers have been ordered...
