I am finally about to have all the parts needed to install the new motor in the Slo-mo-shon IV so I am slowly starting. The old motor mount screws penetrated the bottom of the boat so these holes had to be filled. (That might be where I was getting water in?) For that I used some Tamiya epoxy putty.
I also wanted to take the motor apart to paint it black for improved cooling so I have been looking for circlip pliers small enough but has no success so far. Yesterday I decided to stop looking and break the circlip to get access to the inside of the motor and then get some e-clips instead.
